Ellicott Center welcomes Buffalo Sabres as their Trusted Rehab partner.

“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.” So said Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company, who knew a thing or two about success.

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.” This according to basketball legend Michael Jordan, who knew a thing or two about championships.

Those two principles are at the heart of the new partnership between Ellicott
Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing and the Buffalo Sabres. A National Hockey League franchise for nearly fifty years, the Buffalo Sabres are beloved in all of Western New York. Now, the Centers Health Care team has enlisted the Sabres to help promote health and well-being throughout the region.

Ellicott Center has a history of healthful, successful outcomes, and the
collaboration with the Buffalo Sabres reinforces that mission. Ellicott Center
recently introduced the GO Rehab Program. It’s designed to make the rehab
experience more efficient and effective — as well as more contemporary,
comfortable and convenient.

The residents of the GO Unit have access to an attending physician 5 days a week, and to a registered nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Specialists in various fields, such as physiatry, pulmonary, and cardio are also available to consult on individual cases. In addition, the program features state-of-the-art equipment, including the Jintronix biofeedback system — a medical marvel built with computer gaming technology and multiple motion sensors. It tracks dozens of joint movements in hundreds of increments, allowing the GO team to instantly adjust the therapeutic inputs.

“Together we’re Buffalo strong.”

The GO Rehab Program is the equivalent of a Buffalo Sabres power play.
Kenneth (Kenny) Rozenberg, CEO of Centers Health Care, who was the driving force behind both the GO Rehab Program and the partnership with the Sabres, recently attended an event featuring Hall of Fame Sabres goaltender Dominik Hasek. “The reactions of the residents and staff — the looks on their faces — were absolutely priceless. That alone made our partnership with the Sabres well worth it. I’m looking forward to this ongoing relationship with the Sabres, and Ellicott Center stands to reap the benefits. Together we’re Buffalo strong.”
